Bill founded Davidson & Company LLP in 1984 with a vision for a service-driven firm that would become an industry leader. For over four decades, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the accounting profession while actively contributing to his community.
As a capital campaign committee member, Bill helped secure major donations and guided financing to launch the Bettie Allard YMCA in Coquitlam, bringing essential programs and services to the region. He has served on numerous boards, including the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and the Rotary Club of Vancouver, and dedicated 12 years to coaching youth soccer.
In recognition of his professional and philanthropic impact, Bill was named a Fellow of CPA BC in 2006 and received CPA BC’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. Now in semi-retirement, he continues to advise on client matters and support global business initiatives – while happily leaving firm management to others (unless asked, of course).
An avid traveler, hiker, and boxing enthusiast, Bill remains deeply engaged in community service and politics.
