Sun knows tax from both sides, having started in audit before making it his specialty.
That dual background lets him give integrated advice bridging audit and tax, and today he focuses on Canadian corporate taxation.
He began his career in audit at Davidson, where he completed his CA designation, before moving into tax and later returning to the firm from Ernst & Young as a Tax Manager. Along the way he completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Taxation program, the profession’s most rigorous tax training.
That combination is Sun’s edge. He understands how the pieces of a client’s financial picture connect, and gives advice that reflects the whole. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and is a CPA, CA.
You will often find him on the golf course, on the soccer pitch, or sharing Korean delicacies with family and friends.
