Bill built Davidson from the ground up, founding the firm in 1984.
His vision for a service-driven firm that would become an industry leader still shapes how Davidson works today.
Alongside his work in the profession, Bill has been a dedicated community builder. As a capital campaign committee member, he helped launch the Bettie Allard YMCA in Coquitlam, and he has served on numerous boards, including the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and the Rotary Club of Vancouver, and coached youth soccer for many seasons.
His impact has been recognized at the highest levels of the profession. Bill was named a Fellow of CPA BC in 2006 and received CPA BC’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.
Now in semi-retirement, he still advises on client matters and global business initiatives, while happily leaving firm management to others, unless asked. An avid traveller, hiker, and boxing enthusiast, Bill remains deeply engaged in his community.
